Sister, be...is a family-owned and operated company. Founded by April Arnett after losing her only sibling, her sister Amber, to a long, but courageous battle with Lupus and Kidney Failure.
Through processing her grief, April, along with her parents, Rick and Candice, were determined to find a way to honor Amber's memory, and to bring healing to their hearts. Amber loved all things that smelled good. She began her day by lighting a candle.
April couldn't think of a better way to memorialize her sister, than to learn the art of candle making, something Amber loved. They began their operation in April's kitchen. Tirelessly researching techniques, safe ingredients, and testing their products for many months, until they reached a safe, appealing, richly scented product.
Aside from Amber's love of scents, she loved her family, friends, and her fur baby fiercely. She loved the beauty of nature, and all animals. She was generous, and empathetic to those who are afflicted with illness, poverty, and for those who don't have a voice.

Our mission through Sister, be...Candle Company
is to capture everything Amber was in life, through quality products and giving back. We have chosen to support the following organizations, in Amber's honor, from a portion of our sales. These charities will change on a quarterly basis.
